My x2 4000+ is a beast. (& to that great man who sold it to me for 10$ THANK YOU!)

Stock is 200mhz x 10, I am at 287x10.5

Hopefully I can pull a 300mhz Bus speed. As that is my goal.

And its warm today.

Idle temps are 26-30 Load temps are 45-50 (core1-core2)*
But so far this is really rockin.
Passed 12 hours of OCCT
With my GPU overclock of +12% core +8%mem I am really rollin now.

*Brisbane CPUs have borked temp sensors so they have a range from core to core.

I am upping the Vcore to 1.45 (as high as I'll go)

And I'll see if I can get 300mhz bus.

but i think, you need a better cooler. you can even go with 1.6v if you have, let's say a true

uh..hows it possible for you to have a 10.5 multiplier, when the higest on that is 10?? yu meant 9.5?
Mmmm Brisbanes. <33 Got my BE-2350 too 3.04 GHz aswell. =D Stock is 2.1 though so not quite 1 GHz overclock like yours but pretty damn close.

I have an S1283 w/ BT kit.

I could use that, but it doesn't mount right.
Really doesn't matter in a A300 as it just blows into the top exaust fan. But I don't feel like installing another cooler.

As on my old board it blocked off RAM dimms 1&2, so I just tucked it away in the closet, then I changed boards, forgot I had it and re-used my pro.

I can/could go 1.5Vcore on this chip, but I don't want to. I top out at 300FSB, I got it that high, but not stable. And 1.6 is just to dangerous for me/the little performance of 3.1ghz vs 3.0

No, 10.5 is the highest on my multi, but the stock settings for this chip are 200x10 (2.0ghz) You can up the multi by .5 though.

Those older 45watt CPUs (The Althon 64 Be-2xxx) chips really could overclock. The newer ones (x050e) don't do as hot.

gotta love BE

Thats teh haxor way, besides most believe that a chip runs faster with a higher bus speed opposed to a higher multi.
