dude i would sugest you buy some harmon kardon speakers they are very good and hard to break

Lighting for speakers is not for the professionals and is just a waist of power

logitech x-230 2.1

I would take a look at those. Although Harman Kardon are very good, And Harman Kardon is owned by JBL so they have to be doing something right.
I know you're looking for a 2,1, but if you can get 5.1 speakers, get those Logitech 49$ 70 watts speakers. They are way better than 2.1.

That is true, you could get that system and upgrade to 5.1 for less then $50 bucks. I was inclined to purchase them, and then I got a little more money and upgraded to the Z-5300e. The Z-530 5.1 are definetaly a great product for the money. And you would be happy with them. Either one of the systems, the z-230 or the Z-530 are great. But if you onl ywant 2.1 for right now get the Z-230 or vice versa.

Didn't see your post above, If you are really set on going 2.1 then the Z-230 are a great buy.

Truth be told, I have a cheapo Creative 2.1 set up I got at wal-mart for 20 bucks. They lil speakers pump out so much sound its amazing, best part is you could opt for a splitter like I have and get 2 sets and plug em in at same time...hmmm 4.2 lolol
Id go to wal mart and look for the altec lansings, those are good.
logitech z3-e. One of the best I've ever heard. That's why I bought them...I tried all of the ones I could before dropping my money on these babies.
The x-230 will do if your on a budget
I would definately say the Logitech X-230's, I have the 530's and they are great
I have Logitech X-230's and they are pretty good! Not perfect but they have good and clear sound quality.
If you are on tight budget thats way to go!
