Hello all, just wondering which would be best all round, I have a Sempron 3300+ that I can OC to 2.6Ghz with a L2 Cache of 128KBytes, and I also have an Athlon 3000+ Newcastle that will only OC to 2.35Ghz but has a L2 Cache of 512KBytes both are the same socket"754", but which would be the best the sempron at 2.6Ghz or the Newcastle at 2.35ghz?
Thanks in advance
2-3-2-5 the timings are on the newcastle I think they are the same on the sempy
On everest if I run the Cpu queen benchmark with the sempy I get nearly 2500 and with the newcastle I get 2200

Is it a Sempron64? If it is then it will be right behind the Newcastle at those speeds. The nod goes to the Newcastle but not by much.

Yep it is a Sempron64...could maybe even push the sempy to 2.7ghz with higher voltage
