It's fine. As long as they're both blowing the same direction, they'll work near as makes no difference as well as an identical pair.

They are both intaking air. Here is a pic of how it looks right now:

Well that definitely won't work. Doing that will result almost no airflow overall unless one fan is a lot faster than the other, in which case you shouldn't be using the slower one at all. Plus your likely to burn out your fans. One in, one out is the rule.

In an ideal situation, you should have two fans pushing the same amount of air (CFM). I doubt having two different fans will make much of a difference, however. That is, as long as one isn't pushing 15CFM and the other 110CFM.

Oh, and you want to flip on of those fans around for a push pull setup... much better airflow and temps.

I have 2 CM case fans on my Hype 212+ doing push/pull, it works great! So if you have 2 case fans, Id recommend this instead of doing 2 dissimilar fans because the 2 dissimilar fans may make different airflows thus causing not as much air to go through the sink.

I have the stock fan installed and a fan which came with my NZXT Apollo (the back case fan which blows air out). Is the Apollo fan any good?

I can find any specs, so I'll guess and say it pushes between 50CFM and 75CFM. The Hyper 212+ fan pushes around the same amount of air (up to 76.8CFM). The fans aren't all that great, like most stock fans, but they'll do.

Wondering if someone could give me a bit of advice.
Would the stock and a Zalman ZM-F3 120mm fan work? And could I position the cooler to suck air from the GPU and one pulling out the top? I have a Lancool k62 so it has a top exhaust.

Thanks!

This would be doing it way wrong man. youd have to put ALOT of 20mm fans on one side of the sink and a 120 on the other side of the sink if you wanted to do it right-ish with a 120 and 20mms for push/pull
