Hi guys, thinking of upgrading my gs1000 with zalmang gs1200 which uses 2x200mm fans.
I really dont want zalman fans because they are loud.

Im choosing between these 2 fans->

or

or mayber http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/...ck::15806.html

what I really want is silent fan, because I can hear my noctua fans running on 700RPM, so which one of these would be best at silent vs cooling?

thanks

This is tough... If you can hear your noctuas at 700 then you will definitely hear all 3 of these, as all 3 fans are in the 19db range same as the noctua at full speed.

I personally would go with the Mega Flows, they move the most air and have the best build quality out of the three.

2 Things:

1.) It's about the sound profile, not the sound pressure.
2.) Mega Flows have terrible build quality, brittle blades and a cheap sleeve bearing.

Number 1 confused me... Im not quite sure as to what context its referring to. The bitfenix fan and the MF have no audible differences, side by side i cant tell the difference but the MF moves more air.

and as to number 2, I bought 2 Bitfenix fans for my HAF X along with my brother for his, both of us to replace the top fan and add the second as we liked the fact they used FDB and seemed to be of decent build quality, but.. one clicked if laid flat (didn't do it vertical) one was DOA and another died in 2 weeks. Maybe i just have a biased opinion on them but i cant recommend them. I ended up just pulling the two 1.5 year old megaflows out of my other case using them and my brother is using the one working BF and the stock 200mm

Thats just my personal experience. i cant speak for anyone else who uses or used these fans as their experiences may be different. Please dont take this response as rude or what not, i just wanted to better explain why i recommended the MF's over the BF's
