I have a 23 and Xfire 4890's and there is not a game I cannot max out. Even with one 4890 I have yet to see any laggy slide shows LOL.

I imagine there will be a similar effect like the change from DX9 to DX10.1. For example, when the 4890 was running HAWX in DX9 it hat X FPS but when it was running in DX10 mode it had X+ FPS.
I reckon there will be some gains on DX11 but also loses if you set 20 million gagillion AA
