So, I'm trying to figure out how I can get a decent 24/7 overclock on my graphics cards. I've never really overclocked video cards before, but I'm currently sitting on two 780 classifieds with EK water blocks.
Using the classified controller and Precision X, I got both cards to a stable +252/278 (to get both cards to the same speed) core clock and a +351/351 memory clock with a voltage of 1.35 in the classified controller. My temperatures never got over 46 degrees Celsius and it easily handled Valley and Heaven benchmarks + 30 minutes of Far Cry 3 with no artifacting.
I feel that I can easily push both cards higher, but I'd like to figure out a way to be able to overclock them further while also keeping adaptive voltage so that when my system is idling its not pulling 1.35 volts for absolutely no reason. Is there any way I that I can achieve this? I haven't tried flashing the bios, as I'm not exactly sure what that would accomplish that the classified controller wouldn't. Thanks in advance.
