What would you need to use this, i hve no knowledge of this so i'm a complete noob. What would you guys say is the min rad to use in a cpu only loop with an Apogee storm, let me know if the storm will be suffiecient plz.

Bear in mind the Peltier is only one small part of the bits necessary to make a TEC system work.

It doesn't sound like you have much water cooling experience,,,why not just go this route first then you will have a bit of experience under your belt and 70% of the stuff needed for a TEC system. In the meantime I suggest you read up on TEC's. Melcor have an excellent guide - http://www.melcor.com/handbook.html and it is free to download.

Digest all that and with your water cooling experience and parts you will be well setup to try TEC's.

In all honesty your query "is this worth the effort of importing?" the answer is NO....If you don't understand Peltiers and it doesn't sound like you do.

Like is said, this is'nt for me. I haven't got extensive h2o experience, but i think i was/is more than capable of getting my rig water cooled, like it currently is.

Thanks for the advice & link though. I'm here to learn & most of you are always friendly enough to help. I'm not going to go TEC anytime soon, this is more to get my friend started.
your friend really needs to read up. It's not as simple to stick this in between your block and cpu.
yes dont for get the Cold plate .. A Storm CPu cooler would be the worst TEC block you can get since it has no pins or anything it's ONLY designed to cool the very center of a cpu but with a TEC you need to cool the whole thing
Thanks guys, i'll give him the info.
