Hey guys, at the moment my 2600K is stock settings on stock cooler, and 100% load temps are 78 Degrees.
If i got a Hyper 212+, how low can i expect those temps to go?
What sort of overclock would i be able to obtain from the Hyper 212+?

Wow, thats heaps good :O.
It is a massive improvement over the stock cooler, so do you think i would be able to get 4.4-4.6ghz with that cooler?
Edit: Can you run Prime95, as when i just tried that bench, it wasnt 100% load onto the cpu :S

I am perfectly happy with 4.6ghz as i dont want to go much higher, as then it requires alot of extra voltage.. and i would like to keep my chip for 3-4 years

Well, I run an i5-2500k with an H50 + 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow fans in push pull, and I auto OC'ed mine to 4.8 Ghz., and it runs at about 76C max under prime95 torture test.

I ran it for 1h 15min. though.

I used a 212+ for my friends 2600K works out quite well with 1 fan too...

I could definitely push it further but the temps started to get ridiculous this is 4.6GHz 100pass IBT and 24hour prime blend stable
