Hi guys.

Is it true 2700K uses higher binned chips aka; better than 2600K?

I need an i7 chip for my friend, but 3770K is 60 bucks more than 2600K.

The strange thing is 2700K is even cheaper than 2600K? So i can save quite alot by choosing this instead of 3770K..

Yes, the 2700k is just a binned 2600k. I've owned both chips and I've found that the 2700k is definately better for overclocking, but outside of that, they are exactly the same chip, so if you can get a 2700k for cheaper, I would say you can't go wrong! Also, where did you find it (I could always use another!)?

I don't know why it's cheaper here.. 20$.

Guess I'm taking the 2700K then, thanks.
