I am expecting my new motherboard to arrive today which has been bought 2nd hand.

The motherboard in question is an MSI big bang marshal, now my question is...should I be resetting the bios before I use it? If so what is the best way around this? Battery pull? Go into bios and set everything to default using the settings available?

If it was me i would reset the bios incase the previous owner OC or had a different CPU.

Best thing to do would be remove the battery for about 10 seconds then put it back in.

Don't forget to set your date and time though as Windows might not update.
