Hey everyone, can anyone let me know if I can use 2x 3 pin fans with a spare Gelid PWM Y splitter cable to connect to the motherboard CPU Fan? Would this cause any issues? Im replacing my fan with two SP120's.

This is a picture of the connectors. One 3 pin fan would fill, Ground + 12VDC + Sense and leave the PWM pin blank. The second 3 pin fan would fill Ground + 12VDC only, leaving 1 spot empty on it for Sense where that pin is not present. The PWN pin again remains unoccupied.

The connection to the motherboard fills all 4 pins of course.

Thanks all. This is driving me nuts!

Will work fine. Of course there is no PWM control so 12v constant power to fan unless you are using voltage control.
