2x GTX 260 (216) SLI vs GTX 285

does anyone know or have any links to the performance difference between those /\\/\\ I could either sell my GTX 260 and get a 285 or get another 260.

What do you think?

2 X 260 are better than 1 285. I think over at guru3d they compare them. Let me see if I can find.

i would sell your 260 and get a 285 and get SLI 285 later, you have a high res and the extra bandwidth would help alot.

I would say offhand that you would be better off going SLI with another 260 would beat the single 285/ Let me check.

Personally, I'd just get a second 260. Your case is plenty big enough and your power supply can handle it.

Still not sure what i should do, if the performance difference is a lot i'll go for the extra 260 (price cuts FTW), if not ill get a 285 or 295 and SLI later.

Go with another 260, thats future-proof for sure.

these card score over 20k gpu in vantage lol.

I agree on the 260. A pair of them in SLI is a big jump over a single 285.

Get a 285, less power and heat than 2 260's and you wont have to bother with SLI.

Wow that's a huge performance increase. Go for the 260 sli for sure, it will last you a long time!

Wow! I didnt realize 2 of them would be so good. I'll definatly be getting another one. Thanks for the link.

By getting the 285 i'd be losing out on performance and money(i only bought the 260 3 weeks ago before the pice cut)
