Hello,
So yesterday I decided to play around a bit with my system and overclock it to 3.36 Ghz. I found these specs below from a different forum/post and decided to use them.

I have been running my system for about 2 hours on Prime95 and all is well so far. Max Temps at about 67C and idle about 37C. (Scythe SCMG-2100 cooler) Do you guys think I should even push for more(3.6), or leave it as is and maybe tweak a bit?

If your cooling allows it, and you want to do it, full speed ahead!

but with 67C load temp at 3.3 .. I wouldn't go past 3.6-3.8

hehe...thanks. How about the voltages and what not? Should I lower some to keep it from using less power (but still maintain the same clock speed) etc? Although I think if I lower some voltages the system might become less stable...

Those voltages are perfectly fine and fairly low. I say keep it like it is, or even try bumping the BCLK a bit more and see how far it goes on 1.18V

Right so left it at 3.4 ghz for the last week, now its at 3.61, see how that goes ^^
Just bumped the BCLK up to I believe 172

you didnt try to just take your blck up? honestly you shouldn't have to change voltages until 3.6 at minimum, but your voltages are perfectly safe.

I'm just a little worried about voltages, because I read in a couple of places that they can shorten the life of the chip etc. I built this comp to last me a good 6-7 years, and therefore wouldn't want to shorten its lifespan.

ok heres the deal with voltages, upto 1.35 for vcore your in intels spec. As in intel will sell chips aka 930s that need 1.35vcore. Intel says the same about qpi=1.35, not surprising b/c both are the voltages for the cpu. Also qpi needs to be .5v from vdimm no more.
