$300 1080p IPS monitor

I don't want to put this in the deals section because 90% of OCN'ers will throw out something like "you can get a 23" 1080p for 150 bucks"

I mean, breaking into an IPS for under 400 bucks is ungodly. I added this to my Christmas list.

What are you planning on using it for?

Hopefully not gaming.

, it makes me sad. But oh well 30" 16:10s w/ huge gamut is still relatively cheap. Perfect for my needs

So what do you want an IPS for? Having the TV pretty much eliminates the need for a wider viewing angle on your monitor. Are the colors really that much better?

I assume you are referring to the response time. It's an e-ips monitor and IPS has always had high response times. Thing is they are most likely black to black, not gray to gray like most response times show. Granted it might not be the best for gaming, but the color quality is much better.

I want 2 as well!
