that's over 3 bucks a gig, i'd go for a bit bigger size.
If you want a really fast drive, do it. Not too bad if you only have around $100 for a SSD. You might want to see if you can find a kingston drive with the intel chipset on it, they're around $99 as well.
great deal, thats how much i got mine for several months ago during there shell shocker.

my benches when i 1st got them.

OMG Yes! I picked up two of them for $150 a piece and haven't looked back since. I love them. I just use the for my OS and some small programs. I have another drive for my data.
Do you have to install programs and games onto the C drive only? If so, these are not worth it, for myself at least.

I want an SSD drive badly, but they are still so expensive.

You don't have to install games on C:\\, but it would make them load faster if you did

I want it for my OS though (Win 7)

I can't find it on Canadian NewEgg and the american one won't let me buy it

Bummer...

Bummer...

30GB with Windows 7 installed would leave enough space for maybe 1 or 2 games at the most. I guess it could work.

I'd rather wait for the overall price on SSD's to decline before I pick one up.

I can't work with less than 160gb on the main drive.

And the price on this drive is $100 AFTER a MIB...hate those.

i wish i could afford to get 4 of them and put them in raid 0 right now.

Don't forget the rebate is only valid for 1 per household.
