As The Duke said, run those stability test. OCCT, Prime95 and/or Stress Prime. Just to be safe, I would get an after makrket cooler if you can afford one. Heatsinkfactory.com usually has great deals. I got my Zalman $12 bucks cheaper there than at newegg.

You might need to get even better cooling than the TT BT to get 3.0 with your chip. It is possible but that is a 50% OC for your CPU.

It will sure help keep it cool

I went with the screws up from the bottom and had to grind the heads down a bit for board to base clearance. Then I used dubble nuts, one under the retainer and one on top, drew down the FHS then drew up the bottom ones to lock em in place. All in all well worth it, the screws from the top are a PITA! Not to mention they were to short

TT BT is definetely the best for air, I would just be careful at 3.0

It would be cool to see you get that out of your 3200

EDIT: What does atm mean? Excuse my ignorance

I was gunna buy another stick of RAM but ill go against that and get the BT TT

edit: ATM means at the minute - i shouldnt abbreviate but i spend too much time on msn and its become a habit

bah, damn you E6 stepping! MY E3 needs like 1.48V just for 2.6, where its unstable as trying to stand on one leg after having 4 beers and being on a little boat in a huge sea when its a hurricane!

Other than my envy i must congratulate you with a nice overclock

you can try going any further but before we'd like to see the load temps please

And for a watercooling setup... you could start with tt bigwater
their new version seem much better than mine :S

im going for the OCCT stress test - ive never used it before and would like to see what its like.

Ill post a screeny of the temps

i must pre-warn you! My motherboard lies about my temps! Minus 10 to 15 degrees and thats where my true temps lie. This is a flaw in the ax8 (otherwise a good board)

NOOO!! its unstable! Prime95 encountered an error after like 1 second.

OCCT kept locking up on me, so i used prime95.

My temps get to around 70 celcius according to speedfan. Its actually around 55-60

do games count as testing? lol
