Ok, my dad has 3500 NewCastle (130NM, 2.2ghz, SSE1,2) im thinking of giving him my old 3200 Venice (90NM, 2ghz, SSE1,2,3) he can get his 3500 past 2.3, he plays games and rips dvds, which if im not mistaken the instruction SSE3 helps alot with. which the 3500 doesnt have, but the 3200 does. should he stick with the 3500, or should i give him the 3200?

I woudl say the 3200 is a much better overclocker than the 3500 and his 3500 is 130nm so it will get hotter than the 3200 will

yep, it will say "Skip clockspeed 225" even if i set the HT link to 1X, the lowest memory settings, and i raise the Vcore, I still cant get past 227! I can do it easy with Easy Tune, which is very convienient!!! if its unstable, i dont have to wait for windows to boot up to find out. i have the same problem!
