I have a chip I exchanged at microcenter as they didn't want to accept my opened cpu, and I'm interested if anyone heard anything about 3945b chips? I would do the research myself, but my exact batch only returned one result at evga, and my dying laptop is way too slow to forum hop looking for similar chips.

I'm a little confused here, MicroCenter didn't accept your opened CPU for return/refund? But you were able to exchange it with them no problem?

Yes, I'm well aware of that listing considering I posted results there. Like my op says, google had no info, I was asking for info someone had off the top of their head, not where to search.

yes indeed.
Luckily, somebody did prove helpful, though not in this thread
