OK, i just ran 3d mark, my system specs are in my sig, and does this sound right for the score with the system i have? I have the CPU overclocked to 3.2 and my score was 7546..

Here are the Details of that score

SM 2.0 Score=3187
SM 3.0 Score=2541
CPU Score=4349

What could I do to improve the score? Thanks

is that vantage or 06?

but either that's pretty low man.

you should be getting 18k+ with that. is that oc stable? or have you tried reformatting at all?
OC is stable, and it 06 I have vantage but it lags so horribly much that I can barely run it!
4870 will do much better in the 3DMark Vantage. To improve the score, you can just overclock your Phenom II 810 or you won't get any better scores.

I believe that your problem is the CPU.

That kind of video card should be fine, but 25 FPS sounds really terrible for 4870. Phenom's won't overclock easily, so, I'm pretty sure that it's just so unstable.

Do you think i should just bring it down to stock and try? or What could i do to test it, I ran teh AMD overdrive Stablity test and no errors

Try with the default clocks. Go back to x64.

try running it on stock. you should reach at least 15k+.
You should do a stablize test with a prime95.
What did you use to STRESS the system? How long did you run it? I would recommend running Everest for at LEAST 12 hours.
Ill try running it with stock right now, Let you know soon
8k is LOW. You should double that, easy... I get 18k's with my system and I think your one card should beat my 2 cards.. not sure how processor vs processor would compare.

How's your temps? Those Smilodon aren't quite known for being the coolest boxes, I hear.

I think this is your problem. x32 will choke off the frame buffer of your card with 4GB of RAM installed. I had this same problem the other day myself. Forgot I had 4GB installed and only 32bit XP on my benching drive. Cut my scores in every bench especially 3D benchies down by 75%. With 4GB of RAM and the 1GB vid card. 64 bit is a must.

Do you really things the 32 would half the System score... I just put everything on my processor too default, 2.6 ghz, and my score went up nicely to 12k but I still think that is too low for this system.

SM 2.0 Score=5174
SM 3.0 Score=5827
CPU Score=3721
this is the updated score.. I also changed the CCC settings to optimal settings.. Do you think that would of been it? What else should i do besides wait for my new x64 in the mail lol

Another thing, what could i do to stablize the OC? The temps are good, below 55C on FULL load.

I had my AM3 score cut from over 200,000 to 56,000 Sunday afternoon. Took out the extra RAM and the score jumped back up where it belonged. 32bit windows just can not address that much RAM. You have over 5GB in the system right now counting the cashe.

Hmm CPU score seems way to low. If they are below 55 I would say you need to bump your volatge.
how much you think? should i keep speed at stock
