3d monitor comparison

so im interested in buying nvidia's 3d vision and ive narrowed it down to these two 3d capable monitors and i cant figure out which would perform better. now i know samsung makes friekin sweet monitors and ive always wanted one but nvidia suggests this viewsonic and i realize nvidia knows what there talking about so im stuck...heres the samsung what do you guys think?

Your computer is not even powerful enough for it. You need to be able to run games @ 120 fps for it to work correctly, which is why you need a 120hz monitor. That is just how it works, so unless you upgrade to i7 920 @ 4GHz w/ 2x GTX 295 SLI, then done bother IMO (cause I like to max stuff too
).

the viewsonic is ugly. but the samsung is deactivated. the probably both good but id get the samsung if you could find it.

im sorry i didnt say this in the op, but yes im aware of this. im planning on buying what is needed to make this work.

i agree with your opinion on the viewsonic being ugly
i can find the samsung but the viewsonic is 3ms response and the samsung is 5ms so im still undecided.....

Oh Let me know how this turns out for you, wish I knew someone who had a 3d vision setup to see if its worth while or not.

i was the same way, i didnt have any interest in this before yesterday i went to frys to get a new psu (which reminds me i have to update my sig lol) they had a demo setup and i put the glasses on and all i could say was wow! we have reached a new era of gaming with this system. its just amazing! if your have a local frys go check it out to see if they have the demo setup you wont be disappointed.
