So I really want to try something new. How much of a performance hit will I get with these cards if I go 3D?
Do the graphics turn worse when you go 3D?

The graphics are the same. The FPS just gets cut in half. SLI 570's will work great for 3D.

How would you rate the immersiveness? (dunno how to spell it haha)

almost 50% performance drop from non 3d to 3d. add more performance loss if it's 3d

EDIT: 570 sli is good enough for 3d, add another one (if its possible) for sourround

Not going 3D surround and I'm running most of my games above 120FPS (usually have V-Sync on so it doesn't go above what my monitor can't handle though) so 50% is not a problem at the moment.

I really want to try RTS, Driving, FPS, and movies well pretty much everything.
