If you want to be able to compare your scores with other people then yes, you will need to plug in a monitor that can run at a resolution of at least 1280 X 1024. Previous versions of 3dMark allow lower resolutions.
3dmark vantage prob
now i'm a bit if a noob with all this and a mate got me into it and he game me a copy of 3dmark vantage and it wont work on my lappy cuz the resolution is too low. my screen can go to 1280x800 and everytime i try to run the tests is says the minimum resolution is unsupported. does this mean i have to plug in a higher res monitor or...? or is there an alternative way to get it to run? mabey using a previous version of 3dmark?
