I overclocked my cpu and video card until i finally got 6015 3d marks and i was so happy but then when i ran it again today i only got 5030??? I am so confused, all i have changed is i updated my mobo bios, so i flashed back and still the same, I'm not sure of anything else I've changed??? does anybody have any idea's that could help me???

It may be stuff running in the background using up resources. Check in the Task Manager for that.

I already checked that, I close evrysingle process that i don't need open when I run 3DMark05, I don't know what to do, can anybody help me???

Have you adjusted any of the Nvidia Control Panel settings, like AA or AF since yur last test?

I just checked and my clocks are still oc'd to core/memory 600/755.......and I havn't changed any of the settings for my card at all. I have no idea what's gone wrong..........<img src="/images/smilies/confused.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Confused" class="inlineimg" />

I don't like to bring bad news, but if the score is continuing to decrease think of a RMA of the VID card.

No, the video card is fine, the score is still the same so it's not continuously decreasing. and I've tried it with the anti-virus on and off and it makes no difference. Temperatures are still the same as usual so I'm really just having trouble working this out.

You may have reached the limit of yuor oc on the card perhaps try clocking your cpu a bit more but that isnt a bad 05 score anyway

If you have an hour or so to spare you can try a fresh Win install, that has the habbit of solving these things up.

How you run the benches?Some times I run the benches after 1 hrs or so after gaming.Another word heat up a little before run the benches,any way is almost 1,000 point's but may help.

Yeah I know it's not a bad score, but i had it up to 6015 and that was the steady score i got every time i ran it, and now I've just lost 1000 points.....

OK, I will go and warm up the pc with a phew games then try again, and I will double check my bios settings again then I'll come back, lol.....

My only guess could be after the BIOS flash, your RAM timings (Or so) were changed.

Or run aquamark,play a game for couple of minutes don't have to be HRS.Check this too.You want High performance,sometimes is rest to performance or high quality.go take a look @ your's.<br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/9/92/923d5adf_vbattach33841.jpeg"><img src="http://www.overclock.net/image/id/616577/width/525/height/525/flags/LL"></a>

OK, thanks heaps for all the help guys, after all this stuffing around I figured out that in my nvidia control panel the vsync option got changed to on, instead of application controlled......<img src="/images/smilies/redface.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Embarrassment" class="inlineimg" /> after turning it back to application controlled I am getting a score of over 6000 <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /> now im happy again, lol........once again, thank you heaps guys and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
