i used an older version of occt. I will run the new one on my ssystem tonight and post my results. I have seen the temps hit 65 ONCE for about 1 second and drop down to ~50-55

Maybe you can run one OCCT "Normal CPU test" and see your temps using "Real Temp" or "Core Temp". If it is ok with the normal test, then try with the Linpack test. This Linpack test really tests your cooling...
Thanks for the heads up

here is a pic (not the best pic quality or most dust free case ever but it's not to horrible is it? haha) i don't want to screw up the forums with a huge image so here is a link: http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6344/img00029.jpg
i will see what i can do to get time to get a prime 95 SS. Right now my vista install isn't doing so good so i may have to wait until a fresh formatt (I HATE VIST BUT LIKE IT haha)
Before i reinstall vista i am thinking really hard about lapping my cpu to get my temps down a bit more. I would like to push my cpu a bit more or just make it run cooler haha. I will be doing both my cpu and my heatsink if i do it
not bad. I need to format my vista... I can load into linux with my cpu at 4.35Ghz but not vista
