Can it run any stability tests or game at that speed or is that just a 38 second suicide run? Post a 32M if you can!

It not stable in OCCT...only for lke 6% then failed just ran a test for 3.6 and it passed

Says 0% becasue it just went back to 0 for some reason, its really lame.....went to 100% then to 0%

Your hyperthreaded prescott will perform better than the 2.4AE chip. At around 3.75ghz your super pi 1mb should be below 35seconds if all things are good. The reason why those chips clock so high is because they have such a high multi.

Damn me and my northwood! Why WHY could I not have gotten a prescott

With my wife's 630 3.0 @ 4.02Ghz I get 32 seconds. Is yours a Northwood or Prescott?

R
i did 1m superpi in 35s must be something with ur ram.
Prescott core, the 2.4AE is a prescott. The reason why his SuperPi runs are so high is mainly due to his processor FSB, being 225. The extra cache helps, though this processor wouldn't compare to a 3GHz processor @ 4GHz. Also, run the latest SuperPi Orange, 1.4. I got 36ish basically due to running my memory on a 5:4 devider. Also, many people don't realize that SuperPi is based off of 50% processor speed and 50% memory speed (timings, bus speed)
I was running upper 39's with my 2.4c @ 3.18 with a bus speed of 1060, and a lowsy divider @3/2 pc2100, so my times werent that great. You probably need to step up to some better ram and yould probably hit lower numbers in pi and yould probably have a more stable overclock.

Think I'll be able to hit 3.0 With my Northwood 2.4C?
