Hate to make 2 build request threads in two days, but this one is for my friend who is back from college.
We need $400 bare bones. No OS, monitor, CD drive or peripherals.
Here's what I got for $410. We're not overclocking this or anything... Trying to get everything from newegg unless you know of some deals.

The only thing I would change is make that a AM3 board with DDR3 RAM... might as well since it's gonna be same cost. Other than that it's pretty much what I'd get since there's not much leeway with $400. This is what I came up with:
