$450 AMD Build

hey guys, just thought id post this to see what everyone thinks

Budget was $NZ1000 (about $500USD at current rate)
Aim, Desktop capable of occasional gaming, Movies and Video, and obviously Web Browsing and general University stuff

Here is the Build:

CPU:- Athlon64X2 5000+ 2.6GHz
MoBo:- Gigabyte M61PME-S2P mATX
RAM:- 2Gb Adata 800MHz
HDD:- 640Gb WD Caviar
GPU:- My Old 8500GT
Case:- X-Case w/ 400W PSU
Monitor: 19" LG LCD
KB/Mouse:- Logitec combo
Asus Wireless Network

Total came in at just under $NZ900

What kind of games?
Is it $450 or $500? And where are you buying it from?
Do you need an optical drive?

She was pretty much only interested in Age of Empires III, Diablo 2 etc, nothing too intensive. We got a good deal at a store here in Christchurch, he had a basic package and we upgraded what we thought it needed.

came in to $900NZ, so $450US

edit: forgot to mention DVD drive, its an LG IDE DVD writer
