Ops ssss, as in SLI ops,

Depends on the clocks you run and how far your cpu can push the 480s, generally I think 460s are about 10-20% faster than a single 480, so possibly around 80% improvement over SLI 460s best case I'd say.

You'll see an increase on a magnitude of roughly double what you see now. Your minimum frames will take a hefty jump to the point where your current average will probably be your minimum FPS with the 480s.

At this point in time, probably not a difference worth going after...460 SLI are more than good enough to max those games out at just 1080p afaik. IMO if you had two of those screens you might see a difference.

I have two 480s at 850 MHz core.

Metro2033, I can play with everything EXCEPT PhysX enabled-->I get about 40-60 fps.

Crysis with Natural Mod and 16x AA I maintain 50-60 fps.

I doubt you are getting a STABLE 55fps in Crysis with GTX460s with any kind of anti aliasing turned up.

The game is poorly coded anyways, DX9 uses more vram than DX10.

I only get about 73 fps at 850 core, the game doesn't even look good, not compared to Crysis 2 which is still DX9/10 and runs a lot better.

(look as good is subjective to the amount of graphical power its requiring compared to more modern titles)
