4GB Crucial or 2GB Crucial Ballistix?

As the title states, i'm trying to figure out which ram configuration to use.

I've got 1x2 GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 1066 on hand, and i've also got some regular 2x2 GB Crucial DDR2 800 memory on hand. I know i can't use more than like 3.25 or some odd decimal of Physical Memory in a 32 Bit OS, but the extra 1.25 GB would probably make a large difference, No?

I dunno, what do yall think? 2 GB of Faster RAM, or 4 GB of slightly slower RAM? I know the speed itself makes little/no difference, So i guess it comes down to quality/need.

Here is the Ballistix memory i have : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148204

Definitely go for more memory, If there is any performance increase to be had it is with more memory, and I bet the timings are better on the ballistix anyway.

** both links show ddr2 800 **
More faster RAM, doubly so if you're going to be using Vista.

When I've had After Effects and Sony Vegas open, I've run out of RAM on my 4GB set (getting 8GB soonish).
Popped the 4GB set in, and now my stuttering in Crysis and other stuff is gone.
