What resolution for gaming?
Or just leave settings to GeForce experience?
I’ve read GeForce experience isn’t good for settings though?

I have a 48" Samsung JS9000 that I game on quite frequently, also with a single 1080 ti ... I don't use the TV for any "twitchy" FPS games as my 1440p monitor is just much better for that sort of thing. As far as my settings? I play at 4K resolution and get 60fps easy in just about everything. The TV does well at lower resolutions too, like 2560x1440 and the interpolation is quite good. I tend to play with VSYNC on as well. Further, my particular TV has a "game" mode that I can switch to that greatly increases response time.

Otherwise ... I've never seen games look better just regarding color/contrast etc. than when playing on the TV. Just astonishing color and going back to my monitor takes an adjustment period.

Best,
Joel

You can easily play at 1440p maxed out with a 1080 Ti. 4K high on most games. You can also try creating a custom resolution of 3200x1800 wich is closer to 4K.

Yes,it's better to manually tune your settings instead of leaving it to GeForce Experience. Just pick high as a baseline and keep changing settings until you reach your desired frames per second.
