I've never understood the point of LN2 benching. That's like saying my car can go 150mph because I drove off a cliff.

But if you rigged up a proper LN2 cooler you could probably run it 24/7

I still wanna get my p4 that I have sitting at home on LN2

lolwut

Do you know how expensive LN2 is? And how quickly it evaporates off? This isn't like a watercooling loop, LN2 cooling is so good because it's evaporative which means it needs to be topped off constantly or it will run out and your parts will fry.

Yeah, but if you had a shed load of cash to burn and you rigged up some sort of drip rig or something it'd be possible.

I don't think so. LN2 evaporates very quickly. It boils at -196C

Yeah but if you were to have something like

LN2 canister ---> pump----> CPU pot

And have it drizzled out at the same rate it evaporates at.

I think that the money involved in this would negate any positive effect you have of doing such a thing.

I'm fairly sure the LN2 would destroy any sort of pump. It's not a practical solution.

You must get pumps that can handle that sort of temperature without being destroyed.

Here you can get them
