Thanks guys, it's legit. I'll get a cpu-z verification up tomorrow, have to pull the x1300xt back out of the other rig (check my intel build log "battle of the bargain basement pcs").

The celeron is smoking fast, much faster than I thought it would be. It was beating the 805 @ 3.9 in SuperPi by about 5 seconds. That was with the DOA X850XT though (which was causing major havoc)

One of the two rigs will be for sale, the other will be the g/f's, so she can game

FOrgot to mention, cooler is a freezer 7 pro

anyone else who says this is fake whodie just ignore them, they just dont wanna admit that a celeron can reach those speeds. if you notice, the ones that are saying its fake are the ones running AMD so another words..... very good job!!

It is 100% real reberto, why I know that? Because I also had a Celeron which I overclocked with a mere 67fsb which made it a 200fsb CPU (up from 133fsb) and I almost bought a Cedar Mill myself in order to get to the 5ghz but..........

So here is what a Celeron looks like with a 200fsb also:

I had one back in July, here's the 3DMark06 score with that thing: Score.

And you can get one right here: Cely D356. Overclocked to a 200fsb these CPUs are great but anything below that? it's a drag IMO.

Here's the max I was able to achive with my Celeron D 356: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=101771

So that's not fake.

So the screen shot bellow must be fake as well?? Notice that the actual MHZ is also cut off on the 3D Mark tab.

I was wary at first. Now I trust you. But I still don't get why people even buy Pentiums?

It might be a mobile...
I have a P4/M 3.33GHZ 1MB 533 SL7X5...
Volts are really low 1.25-1.35...just like an Athlon XP mobile can get down.
Dude if you faked it...I still believe it's possible...and not because Wax said so...although he and Nasgul have stated the CPU's potential.

Cool. Thats impressive. 32 Second Super Pi is as fast as my E6300 @ stock.

:O. Here I was thinking Celerons were junk. I must have been mistaken about atleast some of them.

That's greatly dependant on ram. And if you look, he's still only running like 200 FSB, which is stock.

Nice OC.

Nah not a mobile it was a rare cedar mill core celeron. 65nm with a cut down fsb and a high multi makes a cool running chip that clocks like mad. XS had a couple and they were hitting 5ghz on air 5.5 on water and over 6ghz on phase

I believe it. It is a 65nm with 25multi bound to handle a lot of clocks with lower vcore/temps.
