Is the tessellation power of nVidia cards really substantially better?
Who cares, just look at the benchmarks and find the card that will run the types of games you play 30+ fps with all eye candyOriginally Posted by loveadventurer;13116994

an unlocked and overclocked 6950 can match a 6970.Originally Posted by Blacklac;13116933
So an unlocked 6950 can match a stock 6970? Or can it almost match an overclocked 6970? Reason I ask is, when a 560 is clock around 1000MHz on the core, it often beats a stock 6970 except a couple games where ATI flat out has better support. However, I don't think I'd buy a 1GB card for SLI. Too bad only Palit makes a 2GB 560.
Stock 6970, right?Originally Posted by Sohryu76;13117069

Unlocked and overclocked beyond 880mhz by 1375mhz will beat a stock 6970 for example 900x1400Originally Posted by Sohryu76;13117069
