5770 x2 vs ..?

Well first i ordderd my 5970 and it was doa so i gotta return it and there out of stock i was thinking of getting 2 5770 instead well i see a good performance? Well it be better then 9800GX2 in Quad SLI witch i had be4 i ordered the 5970??

It should be better than the 9800GX2 quad sli. Two gpus allow for better scaling than four.

2x 5770 ~ 5870.
They both win some and loose some against each other.
5970 ~ 1.5x 5870.

its basically 4x GTS 250 (9800GX2 x2) vs. 2 x GTX 260 (2x 5770's).

People are praising the 5850's in crossfire, which are like GTX 285's in SLI. Almost the same performance as 5870 x2 but 300 less.
