ok when i first installed my 5870, the scaling is factory set to like 10% or something, which leaves a black boarder around the screen. so i set the scaling to 0% so it fills the entire screen.

problem is it WONT save the setting. when i restart my computer i get the same stupid boarder around my screen, and when i go in to the scaling settings it says its still on 0% but it wont change unless i move the slider again.

so annoying!

any ideas on a fix for this?

I believe this is a problem with the 10.8 Drivers. It does the same thing when I restart my pc but after a week or two it just kind of fixed itself. Just right click CCC and exit and the scaling fixes itself or you could always downgrade to 10.5 or upgrade to whatever's newer would be the only fix I can think of.

I assume you are using HDMI? Switch to DVI if possible.
