is a 5950 ultra good technolodgy ( New like the 6800?) or get the 9800XT or 6800 plain. Help i cant make up my mind for Thanksgiving. Thanks a lot

A friend of mine purchased the 5950...he loves it! Although I know that 6800's benchmark better...cause they're newer technology.

For a budget card, the 5950 is not a bad card at all.

6800 plain is cheaper than a 5950 ultra... I say go for the 6800...

also... not only is the 6800 new, but since its got all the new gen parts on it, itll have more headroom 4 OCing it. im with the other guyz...get the 6800, i think itll make u happy
