Ok how do i change the voltage on my Sapphire 5970 i`am struggling to overclock it...

Did you go in the Afterburner settings and enable voltage control?
(Bottom right hand corner of Afterburner is the settings button)

This you have to unlock it. If not ATIOverdrive should let you add voltage to the 5970 because they unlocked it just for this card.

1.35v is the Afterburner max right?
Well I am not sure about the 5970 safe temps, but just see how high you can go without the temps going too high. Try to keep it under 85C for normal use, 110C is the danger zone.

I`am hitting 90c while gaming now but the fan is on auto so i will crank it up on manual for some reason the voltage on my 5870 won`t unlock..

Ok i have set it to the same clocks as my 5870 vapor-x 875/1250 heres a quick screenshot of the heaven benchmark.

I just have a quick question about tri-fire. Does it cause many problems? On another forum while getting sepcs for my build (which I did last week), everyone said that tri-fire was a bad idea. Is this really true?

Also, Chukelz didn't you used to have tri-fire 4890s? What mobo did you use for that?

All i can say is so far so good, the only problem i have noticed is a slight flickering on some objects in BFBC2 mainly water but everything else seems fine, no problems with any other games so far. Cheers for the comments
