I'm folding on the v7.1.24 client, and for some reason I can't get anything but 6055 WUs.

I don't know the PPD, as the new client doesn't display it and won't work with HFM, but these WUs are only worth about 8000 points and take between 7 and 8 hours to complete (with my i7 920 @4GHz).

Is there any way I can get any larger work units? I've already set up the client with a bigadv flag, but for some reason I can't get anything but 6055s.

8k credit...Hmm you sure its not 4k?
Check here.

I get TPF of 3:14 which gets around 16k PPD.

If you want bigger work units, you can go for bigadv.
Follow these simple steps here.

Hmmm. For some reason the units were reading as 6055s, but gave me around 8k each...

I was getting a TPF of 4:30, but I was also browsing the Internet while folding.

I had already done that, and was still getting 6055s.

I ended up reinstalling the client, and the first WU I got (after setting the bigadv flag) was a 2692. Seems as though everything is working correctly now.

8k credit? I still find that odd.

Less TPF than you and only 3.5k credit average.
That is while browsing for the most part.

Most likely you were getting different units and v7 gave the wrong info?

It looks as though that was the case. I was also having problems with downloading and sending WUs. I ended up re-installing, and am having no problems so far.
