I used the anti static wrist band when installing my motherboard back into my case.

the led light on the evga 680i has power. but the power button isn't working. i even tried using the power button on the board. nothing.

Also plugged a different power switch. nothing.

i removed this board from my other case, still using the same exact power supply.. what do you guys think

thanks

It's EVGA, so I'd say it's safe to assume it's dead.
Save yourself some headache- throw it out. Do NOT bother with an RMA.
there is lights that came on on the board, but no power to the fans

Dude, if you're going to give advice, please don't use complete bias to answer the question...

As for the OP, have you upgraded anything at all? Make sure that everything is plugged in correctly, such as the 8pin CPU power and 24 pin motherboard power

If nothing else works, take everything out, put your motherboard on a box, and boot with the bare minimums (i.e. 1 stick of RAM, 1 GPU, etc.)

I second ToaD, after all my throwdowns with EVGA regarding dead RMA boards, I'm THROUGH! I'd get what you can selling it to someone else who will RMA it and buy yourself a board from someone else until EVGA learns some responsibility.

You'll need to pay shipping to send the board back for an RMA. But other than that, yes.

Ah, its not powering on? Check my edit above. Check for loose connections or things like that

everything seems to be intact. nothing loose.. maybe time for a new board... i didnt use this board that long... 3 months maxed...
Power it down, unplug the psu. Jump the jbat jumper from pins 1/2 to 2/3 for 15 to 20 sec. Replace the jumper back to 1/2 plug it back up and power it on. It should reset. Let us know what happens.
one last question before going to school.. does the rma take long?
deersick how do i do this..
Are all the front panel wires and power plugged in correctly? I once fried my 780i because I accidentally put my FP Audio wire in the wrong place. I RMA'd the board. The whole process took about 2 weeks.
You can pull the battery for 5 min or do the jumper. You will have to look at your mother board for the jumper, but most are down low by the battery. If you have your book it will show you where it is. Most say jbat. Be sure to unplug the psu before doing this.
3 days after I had my xfx 680i LT SLI it fried maybe because of me idk but i rmaed it and got it back worked till I upgraded to my 750i ftw and it still works
