I recently rma'd a 5970 and since asus does't have any they offered 2 6950's in exchange. Right now I am running a 5870 and 5970 trifire, I was wondering if anyone knew if the 6990 will be able to run trifire with the
6950's.

When is the 6990 getting released anyways?
would that mean a 6990 won't work with a 6970? or am I being stupid.

If it's 2x6950s it won't unless you run a 6950 BIOS on your 6970 to lock down some shaders etc... That WILL work if the 6990 trifires with the 6950s.
