Ok, so i got one (of two, should have bought both when i got the one) that has dual 6pin connectors.

I searched forever to find another Sapphire 4890OC Edition, found one and got it today. But it has different features, like shields over the backside of the DVI connectors, 6pin/8pin and a Vitec (PWM?) ship instead of a Pulse like the first card.

I searched on here and on google, but i couldnt come up with anything negative, but i remember seeing some XFX babble on the subject a while back.

Also, my Antec TPQ-850 has 2 hardwired 6/8pin connectors, and some google research links showed people who had problems fitting those types of 8pins into the cards.

So, what gives?

Well whats odd is this one looks older, and when i google the numbers on it, seems to reference a Toxic version, not the factory OC one.

Oddly enough, this thread came up, but i cant view the pics on techpowerup.com due to filters at work

http://www.overclock.net/amd-ati/991269-soldering-8-pin-4890-a.html

Only diff is, BOTH of my PCB's are blue, but the dual 6 pin one is listed as 100269OCSR for the OC'd version with a 901 core.

This is what the 6/8pin looks like

But with this reference cooler (notice the single gun, this is present on the OC version, dual guns on the others)

According to Sapphire ticketing, its a 100269SR which is supposed to be a plain jane 4890.

So its still a mystery why this 'plain' card has an 8 pin, right? I heard the XFX ones like that were crap, but everything im finding says this card is rare?
