I ask way to many questions.. don't know where else to turn though.

I appreicate all the help

My 750W PC&C Silencer is making a slight humming/buzzing noise... Its brand new and I'm not sure if it should be doing this. Its pretty quiet, you gotta put your ear near it to hear it.

I also don't have a processor or GPU hooked up yet so maybe thats why.

Any ideas?

I'm really paranoid, it seems like 50% of the hardware I buy is faulty.

hrm id take it careful... mine never had that problem... i just turned my gpu speed down to like 40%... and i cant hear like anything barely... so im guessing i have never actualy "heard" my psu.....

although i did have another psu a nuuo matter a fact.. that the fan blade had cracked right at the center of them all. and was grining itself away. it was loud. and unfortunatly i had already voided the warranty taking it apart to find out what was wrong.. so i couldnt send it back... so.. be careful what u do id send it back after what happened with my nuuo....

Well theres no possible way i can hook with up to a different computer without ruining my 5 hours of wire management...

So i'm just going to assume its good.. Its a very faint sound, and when I bought it I hooked it up to the compaq and I don't remember that sound.

The Silencer fan is very quiet, it has a slight humming noise which could be annoying if you can hear it. However, it does definitely not move more air than the Panasonic fan, which makes me think that the promised 28cfm is an exaggeration.
