Don't go past 1.5v on air. And thats with a good cooler. Far too many cards have burned out because the people with the cards kept asking me to mod their BIOS with more volts than I recommended using.

1.55/1.6v on water.

Watch the type of memory on that GS. It may not be rated as well as the mem on the GT. The GS may have 1.6 or 1.8 ns memory as opposed to the GT which most likey has 1.2 or 1.4 ns memory.

They might be the same, but as you can see from this site (about 1/4 of the way down the page) that the layout for the GT and GS are not the same, so I would be careful with a volt mod.

Okay, I looked at the pic of your GS and the reference GT on that site, looks like your GS uses the reference GT PCB, so go ahead and see how far you can OC that beast!

Here is one, and here is another one. It fits the 7600GT, but not 100% sure about the GS. I have the Zalman, and it works great! Most people like the VF-900, but this is a lot cheaper, and just as effective.

That might help. Basically DDR3 runs faster, and has more overclocking headroom.
