Howdy, haven't been on here in a while

Anyhow, I'm looking to build my sim racing setup soon. Already have an Obutto Ozone sim rig ordered with a triple monitor mount. I have a Yamasaki Q270 as my primary monitor. Absolutely love it! So I figured, why not get 2 more?

Decided to go with the Auria 27" (2560x1440) since they have Displayport and is sold locally (with warranty) at Microcenter.

My plan, right now, is to go with 2x 7970 GHz. Question being, do you think the 6GB version is worth the extra $150 PER CARD for my setup. I'll mainly be playing iRacing and Project CARS, nothing super graphically intensive.

The 3GB versions should be enough, I don't imagine iRacing and Project CARS will use an awful lot of vram.

You're probably right, iRacing wasn't ever designed with graphics in mind

Project CARS looks reallly good but again, not so sure on how grpahically intense it is.

Hmmm... done a bit of research and found this:

Seems that at 1080p he is maxing out his 2GB card in Project CARS which is surprising.

Here's the full album:

It may just be that the game isn't optimised yet but I'm not sure.
