OK, I am running a server with an E2180 (or E2160, I forget, lets assume it is an E2180) Anyways, how do these CPU's compare? I was planning to sell the Kuma, but upon reflection, I might just get a cheap AM2 mobo and sell the Intel. I haven't OCed an AMD since my Brisbane and Windsor, so it would be fun. I know it is only for a server, but I can't tell you how many times my server has filled in for my main when RMAing or upgrading etc.

SO, I assume the Kuma is a better CPU, but I want some opinions first.

If memory serves me these run clock for clock with the E7xxx. So I would assume that this at 3ghz would be better than a E2180 at 3ghz.

The 7750 is better... No contest there.

The 7750BE Kuma is just about as good as the E5200. With a SB600 board, you get a overclocking wall at 3.2GHz, but many have gotten it to 3.5GHz with a SB750 board.

BTW: My 7750 runs at 38*C with my TRUE under full load (Prime95 for 13 hours).

7750BE is better unless the E2180 is from early batch that can OC to 3.7G+.
