Hey i am over at my buddies house and he just bought a 7800 gs but everytime i try to log into the administrator account it freezes up on us. This is the second card and still the same problems. i uninstalled the old ati drivers and put in the new forceware 90 somethings and still having this problem any ideas guys? it's a BFG card.

Try using Driver Cleaner:

Remove all your drivers, use the app then re-install new Drivers.

All things ATi related should be removed, including stuff left behind when uninstalling the driver.

yes when you clean with Driver Cleaner, make sure to select the ATI option and the Nvidia option

Thanks guys i hate ati it's @#[email protected]#$ anyways got them all out and working like a dream.
