so my 8800gts crapped out on me, so i put in my old 7800gt, 512mb.

With all settings on off or low (as low as they could possibly be) i get like 30-60 FPS in CoD4 depending where im looking. This seems a bit low, even with an older card. i have the newest drivers out.

does this sound right? or should i try some hacked drivers or something? and yea i have the fps cap raised to 250

Sounds about right, my mate that had 7600GT's in SLI was only pulling 60-80 with low settings.

check if u have multi/supersamping/aa/af etc on.

lower the resolution?

Alright the first thing I would do if I was you was run 3DMark06 at default to see if the score is in the normal range. I know 3DMark is no substitute for gaming but it is a good comparative tool. If it deviates from the norm on the low side indicates maybe issue.

But that is just me.

I have a mobile HD3650 and that seems low to me?
