Is a club3d 7950gt 256mb better than say a asus 7900gt top 256mb<br>
The price difference is about $15

As far as I know, the only advantage of the 7950GT is the larger memory... so I'd say no.

I think the 7950GT has higher clocks than the 7900GT, so with the same amount of memory, the 7950GT should still be a faster card than the latter.

Yeah the 7950GT has higher clocks than the 7900GT but performance wise between the two is marginal imo.

And the name sounds better for only $15 more. If it was a $50 difference then I'd say get the 7900. But 7950 for only a bit more is a big bonus.
