Is GTX2 just a bug fix or is it actually an improvement in speed?

I don't think there is a 7950GTX so my vote goes for 7950GX2 (because it exists )

I've only heard of a 7950 GT and a GX2...
If that's what you're asking about then there is a big difference, the GX2 is in fact a set of Procs in one card creating SLI in one card... and the potential for Quad SLI
So it is by consequence, more powerful
Cheers~!
Theres a 7950GT and a 7900GTX, both of which are slower than a 7950GX2. The 7950GX2 is a dual gpu graphics card that has two pcb's and one slot.

Why do SLI benchmarks i see show the 7900GTX SLI, 7900GTO SLI and 7950GT SLI beating the 7900GX2 Quad SLI?

Edit: So then is the 7900GX2 really better?
